Marlena Eckel is originally from Clovis, CA and is very grateful to be working with Starting Arts! She holds an AA in Liberal Studies from Fresno City College, but she’s always had a love for acting. She didn’t take her first steps into the artistic world until her early twenties and has been loving every moment of it. She was involved in many productions back home and continues to work on her craft here in San Jose.
The opportunity to work with Starting Arts has truly been a gift for her! As someone who started her artistic journey as a young adult, she knows how important an early arts education is. She loves the work that Starting Arts does for the surrounding communities and can’t wait to see what the future holds!
