Brief info
I moved here in the US in 2002 from the Philippines and started my banking career with Bank of America. I have also worked in retail banking with Comerica Bank, and later on as a Business Banking Officer at Bank of the West. My passion has always been working with people and helping them achieve their financial goals.
In my current role as Vice-President, Relationship Manager with the Heritage Bank of Commerce’s San Jose commercial lending team, I am an advocate for business owners. My work provides me the opportunity to meet company CEOs and Presidents, as well as CFO’s and Controllers. I love to listen to business owners tell me how they have built their company from the ground up and how I can be a conduit in helping their business continue to grow. On a personal note, I am a mother of 2 adult boys. I love to dance and I teach Zumba at CitySports Club 2x a week. My classes usually have 30-50 students – a very diverse group of youngand not-so-young, men and women. I like to make myclasses not only a work-out but also fun for my students.
I love children and I believe that providing kids with a good education gives them a great foundation to a productive and fulfilling life ahead. I have been involved with Junior Achievement in the past years – prior to Covid – providing children with early education in managing finances. I hope to continue to participate in this program now that schools have re-opened.
