How to Dontate
Starting Arts is a California 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote arts education in public schools. We are committed to limiting administrative infrastructure and ensuring that monies received are spent educating children. Our innovative partnerships with school districts allow Starting Arts to limit overhead costs by utilizing school sites free of charge. We also partner with local city agencies and corporations for the use of performance facilities at a nominal cost.
Starting Arts actively solicits and receives services and operating funds from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies. Monies are primarily spent on artist salaries, teaching supplies and technical support. We are prepared to accept a variety of contributions, i.e. cash, stock, capital goods and/or services. All donations are tax-deductible.

Generous grants from foundations and trusts are an invaluable source of support for Starting Arts’ talented students, providing funds for scholarships, restricted grants towards one of our many school programs and general operating support that enables Starting Arts to use the generosity of our institutional funders in areas that it is most urgently needed. You can collaborate with Starting Arts to assure the future of arts education in the Bay Area and throughout California.

Your Corporation Can Make a Difference!
Since 2000, Starting Arts has been providing high quality arts education to schools throughout the Bay Area. Students get the opportunity to work with our professional artists in dance, theatre, music and visual arts. These professional teaching artists bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm into the classrooms and they help define excellence in the classroom and on stages around the world. Our students deserve to be exposed to this passion, creativity, and the pursuit of perfection.
Starting Arts honors these qualities not only in its artists but in its students as well. We know that these values are shared by many businesses in our community.
