The foundation for Starting Arts success is its partnerships with individual schools and school districts. Realistically, quality "Arts For All" education can only happen "at school", where acquiring knowledge and skills are the focus, standards for teaching are required and student access is guaranteed. It is to their credit that these institutions not only acknowledge the value of arts education, but also recognize that quality arts education is best accomplished in partnership with professional arts educators.

Arts Organizations

Partnerships with local artists and arts organizations is another key ingredient to Starting Arts' success. Since our initial pilot program, Starting Arts' list of affiliated artists has grown from 3 to 45. Because our executive staff and instructors are all members of the local arts community, Startings Arts' connections have fostered partnerships with other local arts organizations that continue to create unique arts experiences for our students.
