Brief info

Caterina Vasil Peterson has over 28 years’ experience as an independent event planner/project manager in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. She has produced a wide range of events for entertainment and corporate entities, with a specialty in non-profit organizations including: Cancer CAREpoint, Huntington Hospital, Hope Services, San Francisco Ballet, San Francisco Art Institute, Olympic Club Foundation, Elios Charitable Foundation and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. While in Los Angeles, Caterina partnered with Antelope Entertainment
and produced promotional events at Comic-Con (for VH1, Warner Bros., Summit Entertainment and Lionsgate) as well as numerous other film-related projects for Paramount Pictures, Columbia Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films.

Caterina believes that making the arts accessible for our youth is transformative and an outlet for creativity and expression. She witnessed first-hand the importance of the arts when she chaired the Art Connections program at her twin daughters’ elementary school and was involved in various musical theater productions during their elementary and middle school years.

Caterina is married to Don Peterson and resides in Los Gatos. Currently, their twin daughters are pursuing their education at Northeastern University in Boston.
