All Shook Up
All Shook Up is a jukebox musical featuring the songs of Elvis Presley and inspired by William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Set in a repressive 1950s town, the plot follows a mysterious, guitar-playing roustabout who arrives and shakes up the lives of the residents, exploring themes of love, identity, and change through classic Elvis hits like “Heartbreak Hotel” and “Jailhouse Rock”.
This is a full production with professional costuming, lighting, sound, sets. Performances take place at the beautiful Hammer Theatre in downtown San Jose. Tickets are not included in your registration and you will be sent a link to purchase those once casting is complete.
Everyone registered is in the show. Auditions will take place on the first day (June 22nd) so the directing team can determine who will play which role(s). You do not need to prepare anything on your own for the audition day. We will provide materials ahead of time and go over them on the first day before any auditioning takes place.

Because this is a big show with a very short window of rehearsal time, attendance is crucial. We hope that all performers can attend each rehearsal in its entirety, but we have a maximum of 2 absences (and tech week is mandatory) before a performer is taken out of scenes/songs/dances for the safety of themselves and the other performers since there won’t be enough time to catch them up on what they have missed beyond 2 absences.
