JuneRomani‘s parents like to say she’s been coloring since she could pick up a crayon. Her interest in art started at a very young age and she loved to experiment with anything she could get her hands on. This not only grew an appreciation for art within her but also a belief that being exposed to art and creativity at a young age could help expand young minds in a way nothing else could.
Wanting to share her passion, in college she studied Early Childhood Education alongside Illustration and Life Drawing. June went on to draw, write and self publish Graphic Novels and Comic Books. She took up a career as a Preschool Teacher with a focus on art education and creative expression. Giving young children opportunities to experience different kinds of creative mediums in an age appropriate way.
June loves working with color and tends to favor mediums that could get messy! Oil and chalk pastels, charcoal, watercolor, along with pencil, ink and digital mediums. Her expression often takes the form of sequential art and loves telling a story through pictures and illustrations.
