Amy Baker has been entertaining audiences around the world since the tender age of 17. Just a “little girl from” Little Rock, her career has taken her on a fabulous journey from opera houses in Austria, and standing room only crowds in St. Petersburg, to theaters and clubs around the world, and even a performance for President Clinton.
Ms. Baker has also worked extensively as a recording artist for Disney Records, and has produced three solo albums. Her latest album, “In and Out of Love” garnered her the title of best upcoming female jazz vocalist on National Public Radio’s jazz show “Swingin’ Down the Lane” and an inclusion in the “Best of the Best” section of the international best selling book “Entertainment Divas, Cabaret, Jazz Then and Now”. This album also earned her an opening act performance for the Grammy award winning jazz guitarist, Earl Klugh. For the past six years, Amy has built quite a following on the seven seas as she has traveled the world entertaining for luxury cruise lines. Her versatility from jazz, to theater, to opera continues to thrill as she invites an audience to join her in the comfort of her home – the stage.
In between performance engagements, Ms. Baker enjoys musical directing, and vocal instructing and coaching. Over the past 13 years she has worked with hundreds of singers coaching, producing and teaching. Though much of her work is done with professional singers, Amy still loves working with children and novice singers because she is constantly inspired by the joy making music brings to life.
