Aladdin Jr. (Moreland)
Spring 2008

Aladdin Jr. is a show about dreams, wants, and, yes, wishes. Whether we search for something as necessary as a loaf of bread (mmm, sourdough!), as basic as our individual freedom, or as lofty the hand of a beautiful princess, we all know what it is to wish for something we want more than anything else. In this play, we find the many ways in which these dreams can be realized, and sometimes in ways we never could have imagined.
My experience as director of Moreland Middle School's production of Aladdin Jr. is also an example of a dream that has been realized far beyond anything I could ever have imagined. From the brilliant work of those on the behind the scenes crew to the inspired work of the incredible cast, I have felt throughout this process as though I was lucky enough to have my own Genie granting me absolutely everything I wished for!
I thank absolutely everyone involved in this production!
