Once Upon A Mattress

Once Upon a Mattress has truly been a collaborative effort of the students and the production team. These kids are motivated - they sewed costumes, made props, and helped each other with learning their lines and running their scenes. We are so very proud of this production.

Some of you may have seen the televised version of this musical starring Tracey Ullman as Princess Winnifred and Carol Burnett as the Queen. What some of you may NOT know, is that the original show starred a very young Carol Burnett as Princess Winnifred!

We are constantly surprised and amazed by our student performers - some fledgling, others more experienced, but all committed to putting on a show for you.

This was the first year that Peterson had a dance team, and I am extremely proud of how much they accomplished. They have constantly surprised me with their enthusiasm and talent.

I couldn’t have asked for a better group of students. It has been a pleasure teaching them and I only hope that they have enjoyed their time in class as much as I have.
