Katie Anderson, Director Katie is a native of Louisiana, where she studied acting at Loyola University New Orleans and received a degree in English from Nicholls State University. She recently joined the Starting Arts team, and this is her first show with Willow Glen High. She has directed shows with Starting Arts, The Community School of Music and Art, Summit Charter High School in Redwood City, and the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco. When she's not directing, she works as an actress with local bay area theatres, such as City Lights, the Dragon, Busbarn Stage Co., Theatre Q, and The Willows Theatre.
Sarah Duarte, Vocal Director Sarah Duarte is a graduate of the University of California at Irvine, where she received a degree in Music with an emphasis in vocal performance. Prior to becoming the choral and dance instructor here at WGHS & WGMS, Sarah performed with Captive Free on their 2004-2005 tour and performed in the operas Gianni Schicci (Gherarda) and Signor Deluso (Celie). She enjoys working with her WG students and being able to give them a variety of opportunities to perform.
Kenny Williams, Band Director Kenny is a graduate of California State University at Northridge. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music, with an emphasis in jazz trombone performance. Kenny graduated from Oak Grove High school where he participated in their marching band program. He has long been involved with the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps. While studying in Los Angeles, he had the opportunity to perform with musicians such as Freddie Hubbard, Wayne Bergeron, Eric Marienthal, and Pete Christlieb. This is his second year working with the music students at WGHS.
