Travel down the rabbit hole and join Alice’s madcap adventures in Wonderland as she chases the White Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game!


TWELFTH NIGHT

In the depths of the 1930′s, Annie is a fiery young orphan girl who must live in a miserable orphanage run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan. Her seemingly hopeless situation changes dramatically when she is selected to spend a short time at the residence of the wealthy munitions industrialist, Oliver Warbucks. Quickly, she charms the hearts of the household staff and even the seemingly cold-hearted Warbucks cannot help but learn to love this wonderful girl.

The scene is a night club in Berlin, as the 1920′s are drawing to a close. The Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience to the show and assures them that, whatever their troubles, they will forget them at the Cabaret.

After hard years in exile for a crime he didn’t commit, Benjamin Barker, now Sweeney Todd, returns to London to find his wife dead and his daughter in the hands of the evil Judge Turpin. In his anger, Sweeney goes on a murderous rampage. With the help of Mrs. Lovett, he opens a barber shop in which he lures his victims with a charming smile before casually ending their lives with a flick of his razor across their necks. But not one man nor ten thousand men killed can satisfy Sweeney’s lust for vengeance on those who’ve caused his years of pain.

Tom, a nerve-wracked school teacher nervous about his first day of teaching, tries to relax by watching TV when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music, through such beloved Schoolhouse Rock songs as “Just A Bill” and “Conjunction Junction.”


XANADU

Presented by Willow Glen Middle School

Sonny, is a down and out artist creating a chalk mural at Venice Beach, CA in the year 1980. He decides that his chalk art of Greek Muses is lifeless and horrible. He decides to commit suicide. (Artistic people can be so dramatic!) Hearing this, The Muses, led by Clio, decide to come “Alive” and help Sonny Malone to fulfill his artistic destiny! Clio disguises herself as beach babe, Kira, complete with roller skates and leg warmers to help Sonny. They quickly end up at an abandoned Theatre, in which Sonny is instantly inspired (by Kira) to start a roller disco and art gallery. Now all they need to do is get the owner, a very wealthy Danny MaGuire, to agree on giving them the old theatre to renovate. Meanwhile, evil sisters Melpomene and Calliope plot against their sister, in hopes that they will win the reward of the mysterious Xanadu, the reward so amazing, that no one knows what it is!

Our heroine, Lullaby F. Broadway, leaves the stage to become a teacher in the Western oddball town of Wharzis. Lullaby is promptly introduced to a class full of harebrained, over-sized children, including the ever-inquisitive Billy Wyzatt, Mary Knotyoo, Barney Himm, sisters Onna Break and Anita Break, Lida Bonfire, Juan Ferderode, Hugo Yurway and the feisty class bully, Bulldog Bishop. Toss in a couple town gossips, an absent-minded janitor and a growling mayor, and soon Lullaby fi nds herself on trial! It is up to none other than Bulldog Bishop, who’s developed a crush on Lullaby, to help her out.
