BLBD celebrates the Bay Area’s talented young performers (ages 8-18) and gives them a showcase to perform on stage in front of a live audience and a panel of celebrity judges at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Proceeds from this event benefit the 96,000 Campaign for Arts Education.

This suspenseful story is based on the classic legend of the Transylvanian vampire, Dracula. The lead characters in the play work to piece together Dracula’s identity and make a valiant attempt to stop him from taking new victims.

After a romantic summer together, Danny and Sandy sadly part ways believing they will never see each other again. On the first day of school, new student Sandy finds that she has just enrolled in the same high school as her summer love. Will they be able to overcome the high school cliques and expectations or will they go their separate ways?

Belle’s taming of the unfortunate Beast and his ultimate transformation back into a handsome prince is a beloved fairy tale about very different people finding strength in one another and learning how to love.
