FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Starting Arts Celebrates the Arts! SSANTA CLARA, Calif., Saturday, April 30, 2005 – Kids of all ages are invited to come and have fun with Starting Arts at the 3rd Annual Starting Arts Faire on Saturday, April 30th from 11:00am - 4:00pm at Westwood Elementary School located at 435 Saratoga Avenue in Santa Clara. There will be performances by Starting Arts' students, as well as special guests from the Humane Society, the Children’s Discovery Museum and many more. We will have carnival games and prizes as well as drawings, a wild obstacle course, arts & crafts and even a dunk tank so you can get your favorite teacher wet!! You will even get a sneak peek at our fabulous spring shows! Bring the whole family and help us raise scholarship money for children to participate in after school arts programs. FYI-About Starting Arts Starting Arts is a California 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to promote arts education in public schools. Since 2001, we have partnered with local communities, Santa Clara Unified School District, Sunnyvale, Campbell Union School District, Saratoga and San Jose Unified School Districts to provide during and after school programs in all four arts disciplines: dance, theatre, music and visual arts.
