Help Provide Starting Arts Scholarships with eScrip!  Starting Arts uses eScrip fundraising to help provide student scholarships for our after school programs and workshops. To borrow a current catch phrase, Starting Arts' goal is to have "no child left behind" when it comes to arts education!
Donating through eScrip costs you nothing; eScrip funds come from merchants - not you. You simply register credit cards and/or merchant club cards (e.g. Safeway) with eScrip and participating merchants donate a percentage of your total purchases to Starting Arts. Visit http://www.escrip.com to sign on as a new supporter. Be sure to identify Starting Arts, Group ID 149743259, as the group you wish to support. Better yet, make a more powerful commitment to arts education and trade in one of your current credit cards (like your rewards card that generates "free air miles" you never seem able to use) for an eScrip Platinum Visa card. The card is automatically registered with eScrip, and for every purchase made - from any merchant - Visa will donate a percentage to Starting Arts. Using an eScrip Platinum card can potentially double or triple your annual eScrip donations to Starting Arts! What about my privacy? Visit http://www.escrip.com, scroll to the very bottom of the page and click on Privacy to view eScrip privacy policies. eScrip will not sell or rent any personally identifying information about program participants to any third parties. Purchase activity is not shared between program merchants. Purchase item detail is not sent to eScrip. eScrip receives sub-totals only from the merchants. www.escrip.com is a VeriSign Secure Site. All information sent to this site is encrypted, protecting against disclosure to third parties. eScrip uses card numbers and purchase activity solely to process the contributions generated by the purchases. The card numbers are kept confidential by eScrip and are disclosed only to the participating merchants to calculate rebates.
Can using an eScrip Visa Platinum card really make that big a difference in my annual donations? You bet! Apply for and use an eScrip Visa Platinum card (1-800-559-8917 or click here to apply online), and Starting Arts will receive a $25 cash bonus. After you’ve charged $1500 Starting Arts will receive another cash bonus of $25. In 2004, the Starting Arts received approximately $1300 in donations from eScrip merchants based on $87,821 in purchases. If all these purchases had been made with an eScrip Visa card, Visa would have contributed an additional $2200 to Starting Arts.
I know I've signed up for eScrip before. How do I make sure Starting Arts is one of my selected groups to receive donations? Visit http://www.escrip.com, click on 'members/supporters' below the eScrip logo and follow the directions to identify yourself. After the system recognizes you, click on 'my eScrip' to sign in using your password. (If you’ve never been issued a password or have forgotten it, click on Forgot your password?. Your password will be sent to your email address on file or you will be prompted to provide an email address.) Once you're signed into 'my eScrip', you will be able to verify/update all your account information and view monthly reports of your contributions to your selected groups.
