Starting Arts is a California 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote arts education in public schools. We are committed limiting administrative infrastructure and ensuring that monies received are spent educating children. Our innovative partnerships with school districts allows Starting Arts to limit overhead costs by utilizing school sites free of charge. We also partner with local city agencies and corporations for use of performance facilities at nominal cost.

Starting Arts actively solicits and receives services and operating funds from individuals, corporations, foundations and government agencies. Monies are primarily spent on artist salaries, teaching supplies and technical support. We are prepared to accept a variety of contributions, i.e. cash, stock, capital goods and/or services. All donations are tax-deductible.
