Executive Director, Ann Watts Ann Watts' responsibilities are overall management and funding of Starting Arts. She serves as liaison to school principals, determines the type and number of classes offered by Starting Arts, locates facilities, acquires materials, and hires artists to instruct. Ms. Watts also actively solicits public and private funding to sustain and expand the number and size of programs offered by Starting Arts. He is responsible for material selection, physical production, and coordination of staff, volunteers and students to create the events that showcase our students' talents. During school programs range from single classes that meet once a week, to Starting Arts' "Rotating Arts Wheel" that consecutively explores all four arts areas: Dance, Theatre, Music and Visual Arts. Amy and Kelly coordinate and monitor all Starting Arts During School Programs at the following schools. Kelly works with the Starting Arts Marketing Director to increase awareness and publicitiy for specific Starting Arts events. Her responsibilities include crafting press releases, pitching stories to reporters, placing event calendar items, and assisting with applicable social marketing efforts.
