Denise Boucher

Denise brings over 20 years of teaching experience in the art of dance, instructing students from the age of 2 to adults.  She began her training at the age of 3 with Dottie Dunn Dance Studio and has studied many disciplines of dance- ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, tumbling,  and hula to name a few.

In High School she danced on the award winning "Fremont Fetherette" dance team and went on to become a student teacher.  Her credits include becoming a high school coach for 5 years at Monte Vista High School in Cupertino where she lead their team to a 1st place victory in the California State National Drill team Competition.  She became the Assistant and Artistic Director for Dance Attack! Dance Studio.  For 15 years she has been teaching and running their performing company, leading them to achieve many awards at many local competitions.  She has performed in Disneyland, at college basketball games, at professional soccer games, and many 49er half time events.  She has choreographed and judged for many local elementary and jr. high school plays, talent shows and events in the bay area.

Denise is currently a mother of 3 wonderful children.  She is team mom for many sports, has served as a board member for Sunnyvale Southern Little League, and has volunteered at many SYBL and Sunnyvale Pop Warner events.  She was named "Volunteer of the Year" at Cherry Chase Elementary School where she voluntarily taught P.E. programs and established a lunch time activity programs.

Denise is excited to and eager to begin work at Starting Arts in addition to teaching at a new studio , The Dance Zone, located in Westgate mall in Saratoga.
