Katie Anderson
"I live to see that spark of excitement--when a child realizes what he or she can do. My goal in teaching children is to help them discover the magic they already have inside of them. It's beautiful and ironic, that while pretending to be other people, theatre is where we discover ourselves."

Katie Anderson starting doing theatre at the age of 8 and has been immersed in it ever since. She is a native of Louisiana, where she studied acting at Loyola University New Orleans and received a B.A. in English Literature from Nicholls State University.
She is a professional actor in the Bay area, having worked with The Willows Theatre, San Francisco Shakespeare, City Lights Theatre, Theatre Q, The Dragon Theatre, Palo Alto Players, The Western Stage, Calaveras Rep., Festival Theatre Ensemble, California Theatre Center, and Active Arts Theatre.
