Jennifer Ritchey
"The whole art of teaching is only the art of awakening the natural curiosity of young minds for the purpose of satisfying it afterwards." --Anatole France

Jennifer Ritchey is a talented musician who recently moved to the south Bay area early in 2006 after having lived for many years in north Los Angeles, where she taught music and art, recorded and performed professionally. She studied music with an emphasis on working with youth at The Master’s College in Santa Clarita, CA. As a part of various choirs and musical groups, Jenny has had the chance to tour all throughout the United States and in Mexico, Israel and South Africa. She has had the privilege to record with some of the best in the business, such as the Los Angeles Opera, famed studio singer Steve Amerson and under former LA Master Chorale conductor Dr. Paul Salamunovich. Jenny also has a background in musical theatre, having been a part of many productions both on stage and behind the scenes.
In 2002, Jenny began teaching music and art classes in both public and fine arts schools, and she continues to grow in her love for education and helping children learn to be creative. In addition to teaching classes, Jenny teaches private singing and piano lessons. She is very excited to teach with Starting Arts and use all her charisma to inspire the students she meets every day!
