Melody Leibow

Melody Leibow has over 14 years of professional stage experience as a dancer, vocalist, and actress. She can be seen performing for several theatre groups throughout the bay area, but it is her love of sharing the arts with others that keeps her with Starting Arts for another season.
Her most recent accomplishment was getting married to her talented husband Jeff. Last year she performed in American Musical Theatre of San Jose's production of A Chorus Line directed by the famous Kay Cole. Melody McArtor has performed at Theatrworks in the World Premier musical Memphis and A Little Night Music at the Post Street Theatre. She was the Assistant Choreographer and understudy for Theatrworks West Coast Premier of Ragtime. Her favorite show was The Will Rogers Follies (Zig's Favorite) at Woodminster Theatre. Additional shows include: Cabaret (Theatre on San Pedro Square), Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (42nd Street Moon), A Chorus Line and 42nd street (Pleasanton Playhouse), and Crazy For You (Stage 1). Ms Leibow performed in San Francisco's famous Beach Blanket Babylon. She has been in numerous cabaret and dance shows, including 5 years working for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and 3 years as a San Francisco 49er Gold Rush Cheerleader. Melody has also performed internationally in industrial commercials for E2K Productions.
Melody Leibow studied Music, Dance, and Music Performance at San Jose and Stanislaus State Universities in California. She studied piano for 9 years and continues to train in dance, singing, and acting.
