Julia Karpinski
"Living is a form of not being sure, not knowing what next or how. The moment you know how, you begin to die a little. The artist never entirely knows. We guess. We may be wrong, but we take leap after leap in the dark." Agnes De Mille

Julia has been dancing her entire life and has studied tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, modern, and hip hop. She is a graduate of San Jose State University with a B.A. in Dance and Creative Arts and was a Dean Scholar during her last two semesters. Julia greatly enjoys working with children and loves to see the benefit that the enrichment in art brings to their lives.
While at SJSU, she was in the musical Sweet Charity under the direction of Janie Scott. Julia then went on to perform with University Dance Theater (UDT), a modern dance company. While apart of UDT, she attendant the American College Dance Festival’s in Phoenix, AZ and then again at Long Beach State, where her group was selected to perform in the Gala Performance.
